Obituary of Susan Carol Graham

Susan Carol Graham age 73 went on to be with the Lord Monday, December 26, 2022. 

Susan was born December 29, 1948, the daughter of Jack and Ethel Jean Bishop. 

On December 24, 1966 in Bushnell Illinois, Susan was united in marriage to Larry Graham. They shared 60 blessed years together, 56 married. Susan worked side-by-side with Larry at their family business Larry’s Meat Market, for close to 30 years Susan also owned Kelebek’s Consignment for over seven years where she poured her heart and her passion into the people and projects that made her heart full.

Because of Susan‘s comical personality she was given the nickname “Charlie Brown“ by Larry early on in their relationship and those who knew Larry and Susan well knew that she fulfilled that nickname. Susan loved to spend time with her family she loved shopping, garage sales,antiquing she also loved her cats Tommy and Scooter! She enjoyed collecting hummingbirds and roosters.

Susan loved her husband Larry dearly and enjoyed being a devoted wife. Susan was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, Aunt, Neighbor, and friend. She will be cherished in memory.

Susan is survived by her husband Larry of the home three daughters; Tana and Rick Franklin, Tiffany Thurman, and April and Seth Atwell. Grandson Jacob and wife Haley Maasen and their two children Hunter and Holden, granddaughter Laryssa and husband Dalton Miller and their daughter Oakley, granddaughter Kayla and husband Jacob Taylor, granddaughter Kameron Williams, granddaughter Korrin Williams, granddaughter Jade Thurman, grandsons Corbin and Carson Williams, and granddaughter Adyson Atwell.

Sister, Jeanie Brand, brothers Terry Bishop, Jack Bishop, Rick McAvoy, Todd McAvoy, Larry McAvoy and families.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ethel Jean and Jack Bishop, step father John McAvoy, and mother in law Ines Havens.

Services will be held at 2:30 pm, Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri.  The family will welcome friends for visitation from 1:30-2:30 prior to services at the funeral home.

Memorial donations are suggested to Dogwood Animal Shelter or American Diabetes Association.
