Obituary of Dallas Rae Martin
Dallas Rae Martin, 29, passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones on January 2, 2023 in Osage Beach, Missouri. She was born April 20, 1993 in Shawnee Mission, Kansas to Russ and Cindy Martin. Dallas lived life to the fullest. Her life was full of family and friends who she loved with all of her heart. She had an awesome sense of humor and you never knew what she would do next. She loved music, loved to laugh and have fun. She played softball and her passion was being a catcher.
Fifteen years ago on January 5, 2008, Dallas sustained life altering injuries in a car accident. Since that day she has taught us all how to live and love. She taught us that love is not shown in a spoken word, it is shown by action. She taught us that the sweetest sound in life is a giggle. She taught us how to be a friend, the friendships Dallas made have endured through the years and are a wonderful testament to the impact she had on others. She taught us how to live life to the fullest, cherish every moment and to always BELIEVE!
Surviving family members include her parents; Russ and Cindy Martin, her sister Jessica Rozier (Brad), her nephews Brooks and Liam. Her maternal grandparents Micheal and Marilyn Carroll, her Auntie Susan Eichelberger cousins Katie Pericola (RJ) 2nd cousin Olivia, Ashley Eichelberger, Jenna Fodness (Andrew), Amanda Varner (Tyler). Her Uncle Scott Carroll (Brenda) cousins Ian, Noah, and Kyan. Her Uncle Rich (Angela), Uncle Ron Martin (Lynn) cousin Kale. Her Uncle Randy Martin, Cousins John Martin (Courtney) 2nd cousin Emerson, Cousin Jake Martin (Chelsey) 2nd cousins Maddox and Bodie. Cousin Kayla Speichinger (Kyle) 2nd cousins Tucker, Raelyn, Barrett, and Tate. Her amazing nurse Patty Savage. As well as many other family members and loving friends.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and cousin Paul Martin.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 6, 2023, from 4:00-8:00pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 2:00pm at the funeral home.
Inurnment will follow services at Hedges Cemetery, Camdenton.
A Celebration of Life will be held following the funeral on January 7, 2023 from 5:00pm-9:00pm at The Exchange 51 Court Circle SW Camdenton, Mo 65020
Donations can be made in Dallas’s memory to The Dallas Memorial Fund which will benefit Wonderland Camp and various charities. (cfozarks.org)
