Obituary of Michael E. Temple
On Thursday, January 26, 2023, Michael E. Temple, loving husband of Linda Temple for 45 years, passed away at the age of 78 after battling Lymphoma for 5 years.
Mike was born on September 19, 1944, in Indianapolis. He graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1962 and then graduated from Purdue University in 1966.
His working career began at Bryant Air Conditioning as a System Analyst. He then was a custom home builder for 20 years, and then retired from Indiana Brick Corporation as a co-owner in 2015.
Mike was active in the Downtown Optimist Club of Indianapolis, loved bowling and playing golf. He was also a boat lover and owned several boats. The love of boats brought Mike and Linda to the Lake of the Ozarks in 2015, where they retired to enjoy boating and the ‘lake life.’
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Rodney E. Temple and Alice J. Lines, and his grandparents Robert and Elizabeth Casey.
In addition to his wife Linda, survivors include brothers Jeffrey Andrews, and his wife Donna, and Jay Andrews; brother-in-law James Hutchcraft; nieces and nephews; and his many good friends.
Following cremation there will be no services. Memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
