Obituary of Donald Stauch

Donald “Don” Stauch, age 89, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away February 2, 2023 at his home in Camdenton.

Don was born in Kansas City, Kansas on September 2, 1933. He was the son of Joseph Stauch Sr. and Zelma Williams Stauch.

He was united in marriage to Barbara McGee Stauch on June 28, 1955 in Muncie, Kansas. They shared 67 years together at the time of his death.

Don graduated from Wyandotte High School and enlisted in the US Air Force. He received an Honorable Discharge.

In 1965, he moved his family to the lake and proceeded with the family business of building homes and in 1980, he joined United Country Real Estate selling homes and farms at the lake. Don retired in 2020.

Don enjoyed his family most of all. He loved fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed the wildlife and living at the lake.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Stauch of the home; one son Randy Edward Stauch and wife Tracy; two daughters Cynthia Joan Stauch and Laura Marie Stauch; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; one brother William Stauch and his wife Kathy.

Don was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Sr. and Zelma Stauch, two brothers Joseph Stauch Jr. and wife Blanche and Robert Gene and wife Jean; one sister Halie D. Wiser and husband Louie.

Graveside services will be held at Dale Blair Cemetery in Camdenton, Missouri on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 11:00 am.
