Obituary of Arthur Leslie Texier

Arthur Leslie Texier of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 at his home in Osage Beach, at the age of 80.

Arthur was born July 19, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Arthur and Thelma (Recke) Texier.

On May 13, 1978, Arthur was united in marriage to Carole Klund in Florissant, Missouri. They shared 44 years together at the time of his passing.

Arthur loved spending days outdoors golfing.  He was an avid sports fan, especially fond of his St. Louis Blues Hockey and St. Louis Rams Football teams. He was a talented football player in his younger days and was given a scholarship to play Mizzou football.  Arthur loved dancing and was always the life of the party.  

Arthur is survived by his wife Carole Texier of the home; daughters Leslie Texier O’Cull and Michelle Texier Wilder; step-daughter Julie Watson; 3 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and 1 step-great-grandchild.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Thelma Texier and step-son Jeffrey Watson.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm,  Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 3:00 – 4:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.

Interment will be held at a later date at Bethel U.M.C. in Reedsville, Missouri.
