Obituary of Brandon A. Darst

Brandon A. Darst, age 26, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 at his home in Stoutland, Missouri.

Brandon was born October 10, 1996 in Osage Beach, Missouri, the son of John A. and Tonya (Betts) Darst.  Brandon attended school in Lebanon through his sophomore year and transferred to Stoutland, High School, where he graduated in 2015. 

Brandon loved listening to music of all genres.  He was a talented musician who played drums and piano and was a member of the Lebanon High School Marching Band. He was recently learning to play the fiddle.  He enjoyed playing video games and spending time on the lake. 

Brandon is survived by his parents John and Tonya Darst; his brother Zachary A. Darst of Stoutland, Missouri and niece Kinsley Darst.  He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Clinton and Sherry Betts of Stoutland, Missouri; paternal grandmother Barbara Darst of Lebanon, Missouri; great maternal grandmother Betty Cochran of Lebanon, Missouri; his uncle Donny Betts and wife, Holly, of Stoutland, Missouri; his aunt Crystal Betts of Lebanon, Missouri; his uncle Randy Darst and wife, Missy, of Lebanon, Missouri; his uncle David Darst of Lebanon, Missouri; along with his cousins, Ethan Betts, Cody Happe, Emily Rodden, Elizabeth Betts, Titus Stradt, Gracie Rogers, Mackenzie Buske, Dustin Darst, Katie Darst, and Alex Darst.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Russell Darst; and his cousin, Dillon Darst

Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri.  The family will welcome friends for visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.

Interment will follow services at High Point Cemetery in Montreal, Missouri.
