Obituary of Betty Ann Sutfin

Sutfin, Betty Ann (nee Rottmann) of Lake Ozark, MO passed away peacefully on
Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Sanford Ray
Sutfin; dearest mother of Donna (John) Wolf, Nancy (Dave) Strathman and Merritt
Sutfin; dear grandmother of Gwen (Mike) Sniegocki, Eric Huber, Kelly (James)
Gamache and Kayla (Chris) Rieske; special great-grandma to Trent Effan, Gabe Effan,
Mia Sniegocki, Tanner Rieske and James Gamache; our dear sister, aunt, cousin and
friend.

Betty was born on August 8, 1937 in St. Louis, MO to Walter and Rosa Rottman (nee
Lipke). She attended Beaumont High School in St. Louis and was united in marriage to
Sanford Sutfin in May of 1956; they shared 43 years together until the time of his
passing.

She moved to Lake Ozark, MO in 1994 and worked part time in the gift shops at The
Barge and Bayou Bills Restaurant.

She was a devoted mother to her son Merritt and will be dearly missed by her family.

A Private family service will be held. If desired, donations in Betty’s name may be made
to a charity of your choice.
