Obituary of James Carlyle Enochs

Please share a memory of James to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

James Carlyle Enochs was born March 18, 1979, in St. Peters, Missouri, attended Hawthorn Elementary School, graduated from Fort Zumwalt South High School in 1997, and graduated from Southwest Missouri State University in 2003. Jim passed away on March 6, 2023, after a three-year battle with heart disease. He was not quite 44 years old.

Jim owned and operated several companies around the Lake of the Ozarks until his death. The most notable was Lake Ozark Concierge.

Jim was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church. Jim thought very highly of his friends at his church.

The love of Jim’s life were his two daughters, Harper, and Saylor, who he loved with all of his heart. He loved being their father and was with them until the very end.

Through most of his life, everyone that met Jim loved him. He was always fun, bigger than life, and never afraid to try anything. He had so much more to do. He was taken away much too early.

Jim is survived by his mother and father, Larry and Shirley Enochs, of Linn Creek, Missouri; sisters, Emily Jimenez, of St. Peters, Missouri and Elizabeth Horan (Chris), of Lake St. Louis, Missouri; his beautiful daughters, Harper (9) and Saylor (6), both of Lake Ozark, Missouri; and four nephews, a niece, and a great-nephew.

He will truly be missed. He was one of a kind.

A visitation will be held at Christ the King Church in Lake Ozark, Missouri on Saturday,  March 25, 2023, from 10:00am to 12:00pm with services to follow at 12:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, food, etc., as an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to “The Enochs Memorial” at Patriots Bank, 1196 Horseshoe Bend Parkway, Lake Ozark, Missouri, 65049.

Donations will go to Jim’s daughters Harper and Saylor’s college fund, as well as two charities that were important to him.
