Obituary of Donna Marie Cochrane

Donna Marie (Siegel) Cochrane, age 78, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 at her home in Lake Ozark.

 

Donna was born September 13, 1944 in Joliet, Illinois. She was the daughter of George and Margaret Siegel. Donna worked at the Monroe County Sheriff's office in Paris, Missouri and graduated from Moberly Area Community College.

 

Donna was united in marriage to Fred Cochrane on May 28, 1998, and resided in Monroe City, Missouri before moving to the Lake of the Ozarks.  While in Monroe City, Donna worked as a paraprofessional in the Monroe RI School District.

 

Donna enjoyed her life at the lake and attended Baptist churches in the area. She enjoyed spending time with her husband and family. Fred and Donna often took trips riding motorcycles and ventured on camping trips throughout the states. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends doing water aerobics. Donna volunteered at the Heritage Elementary Schools in Lake Ozark.

 

Donna is survived by her husband Fred Cochrane,; two brothers, Patrick (Roseanne) Siegel,  and Michael Siegel; three children, Kevin Shenk, Lori (Rick) Clifton, and Andy Cochrane; five grandchildren, Caitlin (Mike) McEvoy, Doug (Alicia) Howell, Brian Howell, Brianna Cochrane, and Ian Cochrane; and seven great-grandchildren, Emma Shenk, Rhett and Molly Howell, Dalton, Dustin, Dylan, and David McSwain.

 

Donna was a loving and devoted wife and mother and a caring friend to all who knew and loved her.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

 

Donna requested no formal services. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
