Obituary of Rex William Vernon

Rex William Vernon, age 38, of Eldon, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at his home.

Rex was born July 31, 1984 in Jefferson City, Missouri, the son of John and Sharon (White) Vernon.

Rex had worked many years as hostess for several restaurants in the lake area.  He established many friends and loyal customers throughout the years.  He enjoyed music of all kinds and was an animal lover, especially birds.  He had picked up clogging at one point of his life and was a huge history buff.

Rex is survived by his parents, John and Sharon Vernon of Eldon, Missouri; his sisters, Rachel Vernon of Camdenton, Missouri and Ariel Vernon of Eldon, Missouri; along with several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jack and Eudema White; paternal grandfather, Gerald Vernon; and paternal grandmother, Marie Peich.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, March 27, 2023 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Osage Beach, Missouri.
