Obituary of Mary Geneva Miller

Mary Geneva Miller, age 94, of Stoutland, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023. 

Mary was born on March 20, 1929, in Pulaski County, Missouri. She was the daughter of Albert Decker and Ollie Brown. 

On April 12, 1946, Mary was united in marriage with Dave Miller. They shared over 52 years of marriage together at the time of Dave’s passing on December 26, 1998. 

Mary spent her life working as a homemaker. She took great pride in her house and loved to decorate. She enjoyed yard sales and cooking, but there is nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with her family. Mary was a wonderful, caring, and loving person. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be deeply missed. 

Mary is survived by her son David Miller (Beth) of Stoutland, Missouri; her three daughters, Carol Henson (Tommy) of Richland, Missouri, Kathy Sloan (Ray) of Lebanon, Missouri, and Peggy York of Lebanon, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Tim, Stefanie, Dennis, Tina, Michael, J.D., Matt, Tyler and Jessica; and six great-grandchildren. 

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Dave Miller; her daughter Donna Atkins; her parents Albert and Ollie Decker; and twelve siblings. 

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Oaklawn Cemetery in Richland, Missouri at 10:00am.
