Obituary of Connie M. Keller
Conniemarie Keller, age 73, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.
Conniemarie was born May 12, 1950, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Julius and Harriette (Felewicz) Schultz.
Connie loved to cook, camp, fish, and travel. After graduating from high school, she worked in the restaurant at Treasure Island. Her future husband worked in Paint & Hardware. After dating for 3 years they married. Through the years she accumulated hundreds of recipes. She had 4 huge binders: beef, chicken, pork and “favorites”. Every day for dinner she made a fabulous meal complete with wine. She had 3 freezers and 3 refrigerators all stocked with food.
She had a second home in Eagle River, WI. It was her favorite in the world to go. From June to October, she would garden and go fishing every day. The mobile home park was like a small town. Once a month everyone would get together for a cookout. We played games and at night two people from the park play the guitar and drums.
Connie and Roger, many times opened their home for friends and family if you needed a place to stay. She hated to see anyone suffer. She regularly donated to the Hope House, a local charity.
Twenty years ago, Connie and Roger moved to Lake Ozark, MO from Milwaukee, WI. The first day here the property manager introduced himself and invited them to a bar named Eddie's to meet the “Harbor Town Crowd”. The people we met became our best friends.
Connie and Roger would have celebrated their 52nd anniversary on June 5.
Conniemarie is survived her husband Roger Keller of the home; her son Scott Keller of Lake Ozark, Missouri; her grandson Jake Keller of Lake Ozark, Missouri; her brothers Gordan Schultz (Debra) of Tomahawk, Wisconsin, George Schultz of Hales Corners, Wisconsin, and Wayne Schultz (Mary) of Wichita, Kansas; her sister Maryanne Zompa (Joseph) of Pewaukee, Wisconsin and many other relatives and friends.
Conniemarie was preceded in death by her parents Julius and Harriette Schultz.
Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home Osage Beach, Missouri. Family will receive friends at 12:30 pm until time of service at the funeral home.
