Obituary of O'Dean Clifford Stover

O’Dean C. Stover, age 93, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 3, 2023.

He was born on May 14, 1930, in Blue Earth, Minnesota, the son of Clifford and Agnes Stover.

O’Dean was united in marriage on September 26, 1959, to Dolores Stover.

O’Dean along with his father started cleaning and selling carpet door to door in his early years. In 1969,
he moved his family to Camdenton to spend their life at the lake and opened Stover Carpet and Drapery.
O’Dean was an avid golfer and a lifelong member at Lake Valley Country Club. He enjoyed boating,
sailing, and working in the yard.

He is survived by his four daughters, Karen (Craig) Bischof of Osage Beach, Missouri, Stacey (Steve)
Polton of Lenexa, Kansas, Krista (Darin) Shackleford of Camdenton, Missouri, and Gwen (Marcus) Heim
of Springdale, Arkansas; grandchildren Ryan (Mary) Shackleford, Niki Shackleford, Kurtis Davis, Tanner
Heim, Madison Heim, Cody (Amanda) Polton; and his sister, Helen Pelousky of Cartersville, Georgia.

O’Dean is preceded in death by his wife Dolores Stover; son Kevin Stover; and his grandson Korey Davis.

A visitation will be held at Hedges-Scott Funeral home in Camdenton, Missouri on Thursday, June 8,
2023, at 1:00pm. Services will follow the visitation at 2:00pm and will be concluded with a committal
service at Hedges Cemetery.
