Obituary of Dorothy Glaser Harris

Dorothy Glaser Harris of Linn Creek, Missouri passed away Thursday June 15, 2023, in Camdenton, Missouri. She was 73 years old.

Dorothy was born October 1, 1950 in Glendive, Montana. She traveled the United States extensively when she rode along with her husband David in their semi-truck delivering freight all over the country.

She and her husband David had been residents of beautiful Lake of the Ozarks for many years. Sheloved her home with the pink door and she made a showcase of her house by decorating it for every season and holiday.

Dorothy loved her dogs and cats and tried to make the raccoons and birds who visited her deck her petsas well.

Dorothy was very artistic and she loved to do scrapbooking and make beautiful post cards and greeting cards. She was also an excellent cook.

Dorothy got great joy from giving to others. She loved giving gifts and her gifts were always wrapped in the prettiest packages and bags. If you were wondering where she bought all these gifts, shopping on QVC was one of her favorite things to do. She was so generous and always thinking of nice things she could do for others!

Dorothy was a rocker at heart and loved her rock-n-roll music!

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Lillian Ghnert.

She is survived by her husband David; her son Kevin (Teresa) Breitbach and her grandsons Brendan and Brolin; and brothers and sisters, Geraldine Dines, Don Glaser, Kerry Glaser, Marilyn Chounaird and Francy Stevens.

Celebration of Services will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m., June 22, 2023 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time.
