May the sunbeam of the divine shine upon Gentry, a soul full of generosity and passion. His heart was always filled with love and humor, his thoughts kind and considerate. Cherishing time spent with Pastor Dennis, our cherished guide in faith who was always reachable at all times. Nancy, Deanna, Lisa, and family my heartfelt condolences on the loss of the cornerstone of your family. Dennis touched lives too numerous to count over the years including mine. The time I was able to spend with him was short, but it made an impression that has lasted some 45 years. Being 1 of the 145 people he helped lead to Jesus Christ.

It doesn’t seem right that I won’t meet Dennis at the mailbox or in the back yard anymore. He was always quick with a smile and a story (that was usually supposed to be sound advice) and truthfully he always gave good advice!! I’ll never forget his collection of fire king coffee cups or his great assistance when I needed it. He lived the life he preached and I’m thankful he was my neighbor for so many years
