Carl William Stoecklein passed away June 27, 2023 at his home. 

Carl was born October 9, 1939, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the eldest son of Aloysius and Francis Stoecklein.

Carl retired after a long career with General Motors. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and dogs Kiki, Carmella, and Peanut. Carl was a talented wood craftsman, a history buff, and a genuine conversationalist. Carl was a devout Catholic, a devoted husband, and a proud father and grandfather. He cherished his family and will be remembered and loved for the man that he was.

He is survived by wife Jackie; his children Jill, Joanne, Danny, Chris, Sara, and John; eighteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; his siblings Marilyn and Dennis Delo, Linda and Shawn Niaki, Ann and David Bruce, Mark and Carol Stoecklein, and Jeanie Stoecklein; along with many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Peanut.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 10:00a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, located at 2411 Bagnell Dam Blvd, Lake Ozark, Missouri. A funeral mass will begin at 11:00a.m. and a commital service will follow at Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Osage Beach, Missouri.
