Obituary of Betty Jean Lamb

Betty Jean, 68, of Lebanon, Missouri, passed away on July 5, 2023. Betty was born on December 5, 1954, in Birmingham, Alabama to Charles and Clara Perryman.


She came from a large family with 12 other siblings. Brothers William Michael, Larry and Linda, Gary, Tommy and Pam, Doug, Ricky, Terry Wayne, David and Brenda. Sisters include Sharon, Linda, Kathy and Steve, and Barbara.


In 1997, Betty met Robert Lamb. They were always together walking through life. They even worked together for 17 years in the factory. Their life was in Arkansas until Betty became ill. They returned to Missouri in July of 2022 to be with family. They had a wonderful marriage and could always depend on each other.


Children include Renee Hopkins, Marvin and Tonya Foster, Kayla and Jeremy Johnson, Shane Lamb and Kayla Kasper. She loved all of her children and was so proud of each and everyone of them. She had 13 grandchildren! Kristen and Garland Laverty, Kristal and Darrel Simon, Kristopher Jemes, Kaden Jemes, Charlotte Foster, Tiffany and Johnny Sgorbissa, Brandi and Hogan Fisher, Shelby Baun, Landin Lamb, Jayde Lamb, Ivy Lamb, Westin Lamb, and Winter Lamb.


She also leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special friends. All of whom she loved so very much. Betty enjoyed dancing, listening to music, playing Solitaire, being outside, and spending time with loved ones.


She is deeply missed and will forever be remembered with love.

Family will be holding a private memorial service in Betty’s honor.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, where monetary donations may be made.
