Byron Chester Gallina

1958 – 2023

Byron Chester Gallina, 64, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

Byron was anxious to enter this world at only 2 pounds, 6 ounces on November 7, 1958 to Frank and Barbara Gallina in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He grew up in Waukesha where he enjoyed football, basketball, playing the bass in the orchestra and cheering on the Packers. In 1977, Byron graduated from Waukesha North High School and went on to attend University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

Byron worked in the marine industry for 38 years, most recently with Premier 54 Marina in Osage Beach.

Family, spending time at home watching the sunset over the Lake and never missing a Packers game were Byron’s favorite things. He was a loving husband, son, son-in-law, dad and grandpa.

Byron is survived by his wife, Patti; son, Justin Bottomley (Kelly) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandson, Thomas; granddaughter, Kasey and his mother, Barbara Gallina of Camdenton, Missouri. He is further survived by his niece, Jaimie (David) Alaniz; sister-in-law, Mary (Danny) Boeck; brother-in-law Kent (Jane) Bohon; sister-in-law Jean Bohon; as well as other nieces, nephews and extended family.

Byron was preceded in death by his father, Frank; brother, Brent Gallina; father and mother-in-law Kenneth and Etta May Bohon; and brother-in-law Mark Bohon.

 

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
