Mary Lou Vierra was born on August 19,1931, in Wanette, Oklahoma. She went to her heavenly home on July 15, 2023, from Osage Beach, Missouri. She was the daughter of Otto Oakley and Gladys (Killian) Johnson. 

 

She was united in marriage to Anthony (Tony) Lawrence Vierra and from this union came 2 children: Anthony Wilford Robert Vierra and Michael Joseph Vierra. 

 

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her younger brother Wilford Johnson, and her younger sister Esther Brooks.

 

Mary Lou leaves to mourn, her beloved sons, Anthony W.R. Vierra (Anna) of Los Angeles, California and Michael J. Vierra (Rebecca) of Osage Beach, Missouri; her sister Fran Thomas (Al); three grandchildren, Michael A. Vierra (Kate), Tiffany G. Vierra, Brianna G. Vierra; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

 

Mary Lou loved her family and her world revolved around her three grandchildren. She loved to cook and bake for many families and friends, especially birthday cakes. She had many incredible jobs some of which were a car hop in the 1940’s, a realtor, modeling for Saks Fifth Ave, owning her own hair salon and dress shop. She volunteered at Camdenton School district and Lake Regional Hospital for many years.  She was a member of Osage Beach First Assembly of God and had many friends there. She loved people, was loved by many, and will be greatly missed.
