Art and Darlene were in our adult Sunday School class for many years. Art loved the Word of God and amazingly had many verses memorized that he could add to the discussion. Art loved to use colored highlighters in his study books. I once asked him how he knew what stood out to him if everything was highlighted. I guess it ALL was important! When he was in assisted living I enjoyed taking the lessons and daily devotional books to him because he was so happy to get them. And they had to get him more highlighters! I am so sad to miss the funeral because I have been sick.

I was Arthurs Hospice nurse when he resided at Osage Beach Rehab. Arthur would joke around to make me laugh during my visits no matter what he felt like that day and often inquired about how I was doing even though I was there for him. This told me that he was a kind caring spirit and he has a special place in my heart. I want to wish the family of Arthur the best of wishes and thank you for allowing Lake Regional Hospice to care for Arthur.

I had many of enjoyable conversations with Art. We became closer friends after his wife, Darlene past away. I missed talking with him as he moved from one home to several others. I now he will be in heaven. Harold Heard
