Obituary of Alma L. Byrd

Alma L. Byrd, age 75, of Brumley, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation in Tuscumbia, Missouri.

Alma was born on February 24, 1948, in Miller County, Missouri. She was the daughter of Truman Bilyeu
and Leslie Leah Snellings. On October 18, 1964, Alma was united in marriage to Ralph W. Byrd. They shared over 58 years of marriage together at the time of his passing on January 18, 2023.

Alma was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by those who knew her. She is survived by her sons, Doug Byrd and wife, Shelley, and Andy Byrd and wife, Amy, all of Brumley, Missouri, along with six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Byrd, her parents, Truman and Leslie Bilyeu, her brother, Cliff Bilyeu, her sister, Ilene McKinnon, and one grandson, Andy Byrd, Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at New Hope Cemetery
in Kaiser, Missouri.
