Obituary of Avery Corley

Avery Corley, age 47, of Linn Creek, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

Avery was born on October 26, 1975, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Sherry Ann Sharp.

Avery was a dedicated and hard worker. He worked as a concrete worker, doing construction for many years. He was an outdoors man and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Over everything else, Avery loved spending time with his family the most. He was a dedicated father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.

Avery is survived by his mother, Sherry Sharp; his partner Sarah Rhode; his children Casja Corley, Hunter Corley, and Allison Sellers; brothers Damon Corley and John Moyer; grandchildren Janaya Corley-Stradt, Luka Waldon, and Love Waldon; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Avery is preceded in death by his grandparents Adron Dale Sharp and Eleanor Joan Sharp, and his aunt Kayleen Dayle Sharp-Branscun.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday October 5, 2023 at 1:00p.m. at the New Life Church in Camdenton, Missouri.
