Obituary of Frederick Hall Edwards

Frederick "Fred" Hall Edwards, age 82, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, died Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. Fred was born January 29, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Newton Arthur George Edwards and Frances McRee Smith. Fred served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps. Fred was united in marriage June 3, 1955 to Beverly Jean Cornish, who preceded him in death. He later married Shirley Hayden on May 6, 1989 in Kirkwood, Missouri. Fred worked as an investment manager in the banking industry before retiring. He enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, boating and working in his yard. Fred was a member of Christ The King Lutheran Church in Lake Ozark. Fred is survived by his wife Shirley of the home; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Swanigan and husband, Carl, of Macks Creek, Missouri and Jennifer Lynn Trentadue and husband, Toby, of Ballwin, Missouri; one step-son Kevin Allen Austin of Kansas City, Missouri; one step-daughter Deborah Ann Winterowd and husband, Carl, of Grain Valley, Missouri; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and one great-step granddaughter; along with several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly; his parents; and his brother Newton Edwards.
