Obituary of Jack R. Herman

Jack R. Herman, age 65, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family with love. Jack was born October 30, 1950 in Brookfield, Illinois; the son of Randy and Connie (Weiler) Herman. Jack was united in marriage on May 30, 1998 in Chatham, Illinois to Gloria Berkowicz. They had shared 17 loving years together at the time of his death. Jack served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Vietnam conflict. He was an active member of the Christian Motorcycle Association in both Springfield, Illinois and Camdenton, Missouri and was a dedicated volunteer to the Special Olympics in Springfield, Illinois. He was also a member of the local Patriot Guard and a proud life member of the VFW. Jack attended The Potter's House Church in Camdenton. Jack is survived by his wife Gloria; his step-daughters Tanya Silvio of Chicago, Illinois and Lynette Silvio of Summit, Illinois; his daughter Kristine Stewert of Indiana; his sisters Betty Brown of Unionville, Tennessee and Shirley Michels of Darien, Illinois; along with several other relatives and many friends. Jack was preceded in death by his parents Randy and Connie Herman; and his brother Randy.
