I have nothing but wonderful memories of Uncle Junior. I remember numerous times our visits to Kaiser. Junior and Aunt Faye always had fun activities planned for us from boating, riding Uncle Juniors horse, playing pool, horseshoes, going to a music show, driving down to Sasafras, the lake house, etc. Aunt Faye always provided us with very nice home cooked meals, which I throughly enjoyed. Especially the home made jams. It was all a very important part of my child hood that I will never forget. I even remember when the store was operating, which I always thought was super cool. To this day I did take up a trait of Uncle Junior's in that I too became very particular how I took care of things, and to this day I am a perfectionist. I think what happened is Uncle Junior rubbed off on my Dad, and then Dad passed down to me the importance of taking care of things and if you are doing something to make sure you do it right. I was always proud that I had a Uncle like Junior and felt honored to be part of such a great man. God broke the mold when he created Uncle Junior. Although I am very saddened at the passing of my Uncle I know without a shadow of a doubt he is in a much better place; heaven. He is rejoicing right now with no more pain or suffering of any kind. Can you imagine the family get together going on right now and for eternity. Just think; he not only is talking and walking with loved ones from the past, I.e.: his parents, his two brothers (one of them is my Dad), his sister, his son, and all of his Christian brothers and sisters, plus he is in the presence of God. It does not get any better than that. And, last but not least, by being a Christian and having accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we will get to be with Junior one of these days. In Loving Memory, Tim Conn
