Dr. Garrett was our doctor when we moved to the Lake area over 30 years ago, he took wonderful care of our family. He was a true family doctor in every sense of the word. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His family has our sincere sympathy.

My deepest sympathy goes to Dr. Garrett's family and friends. It is always so painful when a loved one leaves us. In the short time I worked with Dr. Garrett I knew right away that he was a very good man who cared deeply for his pts. as well as his family. He touched many lives along his journey that I am sure are very thankful that he was in theirs.

Terri and I are so sorry about the loss of Dr. Tom. He was a great man... kind and caring to all those around him, a talented doctor/trauma specialist, and he will be missed, especially at our Garrett family reunions. Everyone always looked forward to his arrival, especially when he brought his prized tomatoes. When I joined the Army in December of 1967 it was Dr. Tom who wrote "Accepted" across my induction papers after doing my physical. I think he brought me luck because I served at the height of the Vietnam War and am still here and whole.

I remember when Dr.Garrett first started the Convenience Clinic. He almost lived there being a blessing to the locals and the tourists late into the night and on weekends. He was my doctor. He was the one who got our daughter to an allergy specialist at a young age of 5 - blessing her with freedom from antihistamines and drugs. He was never ashamed to share his faith in Christ and represented good moral behaviors for himself and others. There were many thousands blessed by his knowledge of medicine and the way he really cared. My life was blessed by him and he holds a dear place in my heart of memories.
