Tom pursued his medical training and graduated from the University of Oklahoma Medical School, and proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a doctor. After being honorably discharged, he began his life career serving others as a medical doctor. A man of many interests, Tom was an avid racecar fan, and enjoyed great success as the owner of several successful racing teams. He was a lover of exotic animals. Tom raised animals including Deer, Elk, Buffalo and exotic pheasants and other birds. He enjoyed and appreciated the hard work of farming.
Dr. Tom loved his practice and serving his patience all these years at the clinic. He was much loved by his patients, and he was often coined “the country doctor” because it was not above him to except a box of tomatoes or eggs as payment. If a patient did not have money for services, Dr. Tom gave them free services.
Tom was a member of the Christian Medical Association and the American Medical Association.
Tom was a loving and devoted husband and a wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather to his children and their families. His legacy and the lives he touched will live on through them.
