My great Uncle Ken... I didn’t see them much, but my aunt and uncle were very wonderful people. The times we did see them, we had a great time. I remember when they came to see us in Illinois in the 90’s, my brother was having kidney stones. My Incle Ken made a hilarious comment that even to this day I chuckle when I think of the way he said it with his southern accent. “He should drink some lime away!” He was such an easy going person. Rest In Peace Uncle Ken, till we meet again. My condolences to his children and grandchildren & family.

Kenny was my first boss at Whitmire 26 years ago. He was a good teacher and I learned a lot from him. Also enjoyed fishing and time at his home. His and Lee's hospitality was greatly appreciated. Had fun after a "hard" day of crappie hunting, playing cards in the kitchen! God Bless!

Ken was my brother in law, more like my big brother. I remember when he married my sister, I was mad at him for taking her away. But two years later they gave me the most fantastic birthday gift anyone could ask for, a niece, then I forgave him for taking my sister away, I was only 10. He was the kindest and most gentle of men I have ever met. He was willing to help anyone he could and would give you his last dime if you needed it. When my father passed away he and Lee welcomed my mother and I into their home. He bought a car for me so that I would have something to drive when I was there. He gave me away at my wedding and I was so very proud he did. I will always remember the fun times I had with him when I lived there. Especially the night of a severe thunderstorm and we capped some of his home made beer in their bottles. I enjoyed his company when ever we got together and I will always remember him with much love. He was a very loving man and one with great faith. Ken was a terrific father and husband. May he rest in peace. He will be missed.
