Many people attended your funeral today, all the friends you have called family! We heard sweet stories, comments about your smile, greeting everyone when you see them by calling them my friend in asking how they are! You my dear lady will be missed. You would be happy, Hazel Parrish and the auxiliary performed a part of the service, they were so proud of you and talked much about your generosity to others, to the veterans with your lap robes, to the furry friends giving them treats and talking so sweetly to them. The bingo players on last Wednesday placed your cup at your special spot, knowing you would be there if you could.
Rachel you are one in a million, you deserved the utmost best of everything. So many love and know you as you were their family. Your friends and your long distance family had wonderful things to say and were so grateful to all of your family of friends in looking out for you all these years. God Bless you my dear lady, you will be missed terribly by me! You were the best card player ever, and I totally enjoyed every minute we spent together in your last days!! I love you, I went to the cemetery, but the service was done early, I'm sorry for that, but you as always are front and center with Pops, You "Toots" (his name for you) is welcoming you with open arms. As well as your other friends who love you dearly.
I will love you forever, spending time with you and I thought of you as my grandmother with my whole heart. You were my best friend, and the closest family I had here at the lake. Please be at peace knowing how much you are loved!!
