On a lark, I decided to see if I could find my former boss, RIchard Paul Hill, and was saddened to see that he had passed. I was 20 years old when I went to work for him at DGMC, as a transcriptionist. He was always so kind and had the best laugh (and the messiest desk - a true sign of genius he would tell me). I was, however, overjoyed to see the amazing picture of him with that wonderful smile. He also told me that a true sign of aging is when your staff is much younger than you. I worked there for 21 years, and even after he retired he came back to visit. He gave me such a booming laugh when I told him I must be getting old because the residents were younger than me. I have so many joyful memories of that amazing man. He gave me the day off to go to a concert in Oakland, ticket included, if I would also take his children. No worries at all!!! I could do that. He always made me laugh about something. I will forever hold him in my heart as an amazing human being. My condolences Cassie and the children (all grown up, with kids and grandkids).
