Obituary of Sandra Sue Abel

Sandra Sue "Sandy" Abel (Coyle) was born September 25, 1962 to Louis (Pat) Shelton and Al Coyle in Kansas City, Missouri. Sandy attended her school years at Fort Osage schools in Independence, Missouri, and lived in the Metro area until 1994 when her family moved to the Lake area. Sandy worked many years at Probation and Parole in Camdenton, Missouri and ran many successful businesses. Sandy lost her battle to cancer Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Lake Regional Health Systems in Osage Beach, Missouri. Sandy enjoyed being with family in her spare time whether going camping, fishing, sitting around a fire at the river, or playing games with her kids. Sandy also enjoyed spending time with her significant other James; she loved any moment or time she got to spend with her grandkids Breezy Butt, her baby boy, or her Jason Jr. She was a family girl but also enjoyed her travel time she got with friends. Sandy had a beautiful soul and people who were lucky to know her adored her. Sandra is survived by her significant other James Crain of Independence, Missouri; mother and stepfather Louis and Les Hayes of Camdenton, Missouri; her son Jason & wife Tiffany of Macks Creek, Missouri; daughter Jessica & husband Steve of Independence, Missouri; four grandchildren Heather, Jase, Justin, and M’Kenzie. Sandy is also survived by her sisters & brothers Kathy of Independence, Missouri, Patti & husband John of Grain Valley, Missouri, Lisa & husband Steve of KC Metro area, David & wife Brenda of Columbia, Missouri, Steve & wife Cheryl of Grain Valley, Missouri. Sandy is also survived by many nieces and nephews who she also cared deeply for. Sandy is preceded in death by her late husband Charles (Chuck) Abel, brother Michael Smith, and her father Al Coyle.
