Obituary of Christopher Alan Blake

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Alan Blake, age 64, on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at his home in Osage Beach, Missouri. He is survived by his wife Peggy; sons, Jason Bruce Brummond, Max Daniel and wife Cortney Day Brummond, Jacob Andrew and wife Jessica Ann Blake; grandchildren Jayden, Madison, Jersey, Alan, Maximus, Declan, Ronin, and Evelyn; siblings Nick and Cinde Blake, Linda and Dan Brandt; in-laws Marlene Bolen, Jan Bolen, Jeff and Fondra Bolen, and Jim and Vickie Bolen. Chris enjoyed life. He had an infectious personality! He enjoyed entertaining guests, as well as had an appreciation for the outdoors, and all things in nature. Chris possessed a strong work ethic, but always took time for the small things. He lived and loved with great passion. He will be greatly missed by all of those he touched. He was preceded in death by his father Alan; mother Evelyn Blake; brothers-in-law Joe Bolen, Doug Bolen, and Basil Bolen; sisters-in-law Mary Claire Bolen and Kathe Kohl. A gathering for family and friends will be held at a later date. Memorials can be sent to the family for future designation at 1445 Spring Valley Rd., Osage Beach, Missouri 65065.
