Obituary of Ronald Rene Roark

Ronald Rene Roark, 67, of Linn Creek, Missouri passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at his home. He was born April 27, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri to Charleen (Goldacker) and Ronald Roark, who preceded him in death.

Ron served as a corporal in the USMC, and was an aircraft hydraulic mechanic.

After his service, he worked for McDonnell-Douglas for a short time and went into Restaurant Management. He worked in St. Louis, Florida, and the Lake of the Ozarks until his retirement in 2015.

Ron moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1995 where he met and married Janice on April 28, 1998.

Ron was a lover of baseball and loved to watch the St. Louis Cardinals on TV. He loved all kinds of music and playing the guitar and was an avid baseball card collector. He loved living in the country with his wife and dogs.

He is survived by his wife Janice and two step-sons Timothy and wife Lauren Williams of Columbia, Missouri and Michael Williams of Kansas City, Missouri; several siblings David (Brenda) Roark, Gary (Mindi) Roark, Danny (Tonya) Roark, Dan Mueller, Dave Mueller, Donna Mueller and Pat (Mueller) Stanley who recently passed away; nieces and nephews Brandy (Dave) Nieters, Elizabeth (Bill) Ruck, Austin, Logan and Owen Roark, Jennifer and Denise Roark all from the St. Louis area, Alex, Brandan and Ashlyn (Roark) Kohler in Indiana. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, and great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 4 pm at the First Baptist Church of St. Peters.

Inurnment with full military honors will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
