It's hard to put into words all the memories that I have of Grandma.
I remember when I was really little staying at their house on the lake and Grandma teaching me how to make a bed and her and Grandpa giving me toy cars to play with on their fireplace. She also loved to share the story of when I was a toddler and how she tried to pass off a tan baby bottle of regular milk for chocolate milk, and well...I just wasn't having it; I threw it across the room and started screaming.
I remember the pontoon boat rides we would go on with coolers filled with beer for the adults and grape soda for us kids.
Some of my fondest and funniest memories were going to their house after school many nights and playing some chicken foot or Mexican train while drinking some of Grandma's iced tea. She would almost certainly blame Grandpa of cheating, especially when a domino was found under the table on the floor.
When Lex was little I remember she absolutely loved giving her the little books that used to come in the Cheerios boxes, and Lex loved them all! The kids loved playing with the little toys they always had for them on their glass coffee table.
We had some wonderful memories with Grandma and she will be deeply missed. Love you Grandma.
