Obituary of Enid Westhoff

Enid Westhoff, 92, Camdenton, Missouri passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 in Osage Beach, Missouri.

She was born October 24, 1929 in Lincoln, England, the daughter of William and Ivy (Rouston) Palmer.

She was married on October 20, 1956 in Lincoln, England to Clarence Westhoff. He preceded her in death on November 28, 2002.

Always an independent spirit, at 17 years old, Enid opened her own business as a ladies hairdresser. She went on to marry Clark, an American, and they started a new life in the United States. Enid was a loving and devoted wife and mother.

Enid, “the English Lady”, was an avid golfer. She was a charter member of the Lake Valley Country Club. She was also a member of the Camdenton United Methodist Church. She enjoyed taking trips and spending winters in Florida, walking her dog Chloe, and eating coconut cream pie with a cup of tea.

She was a caring friend and neighbor. Enid will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

She is survived by one daughter JoAnn Sale of Jefferson City, Missouri; two sons Jim Westhoff (Cindy) of Blue Springs, Missouri and John Westhoff (SueAnn) of Weatherford, Texas; four grandchildren Paige Westhoff, Trent Westhoff (Amy), Ryan Westhoff (Kaitlin), and Brittany Eades; and 10 great-grandchildren Connor, Preston, Wyatt, Henry, Cal, CeCe, Nora, Corinne, Brileigh, and Hendrick.

Enid was preceded in death by her parents William and Ivy Palmer, her husband Clarence Westhoff, and brother Frank Palmer.

A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 11:00 am at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 am prior to services. 

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 2:30 pm at Riverview Cemetery in Jefferson City, Missouri.
