Obituary of Jessie L. Bull

Jessie L.  "Jay" Bull, age 88, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at her home in Osage Beach.

Jay was born February 4, 1934 at Lake Arthur, New Mexico, the daughter of Ernest and Delia (Evetts) Hill.

She was united in marriage February 4, 2003 to Charles Bull and together they shared over 19 years as husband and wife.

Jay owned and operated her own beauty salon for many years, making many loyal clients and friends along the way.   In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, making crafts, cooking and baking, and was an avid reader.   More than anything, she loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending her time with them.

Jay is survived by her husband, Charlie; her children, Norma Hensiek and husband, Ed, Pam Quick and husband, Mike, Bill Shands and wife, Chris, Kathy Hoechstenbach, Chuck Bull, and Steve Bull and wife, Sherrie; her grandchildren, Jake and Angie Quick,  Michelle Quick, Clayton Bull, James and Kortney Odom, Mary and Jimmy Howells, Savannah Ann Bull, Holly Hoechstenbach, and Steven Hoechstenbach; her great-granchildren, Trent and Paige Quick; and her brother-in-law, Clyde Bull, and wife, Peggy; along with countless nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; three brothers, Verle, Lloyd, and Vernon; and two sisters, Bea, and Ailene.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 pm, at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Services will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 4, at the funeral home.  Entombment will follow services at Lake Memorial Gardens, Praying Hands Mausoleum, Osage Beach, Missouri.

Memorial donations are suggested to lake Regional Hospice.
