His kindness and diligent efforts to help people will always be remembered. As a senior citizen living in Springfield, Missouri, Dasan made an impression and was helpful and always there for me. He was a really, really nice person. I'm going to miss him--- until we meet again. Barbara Skinner

David and Susan, I sincerely want to thank you. Dasan was the type of person that refused my handshake to go in for a hug. He’s the type of guy that would wait for you at the bottom of the slope to brag about how cool your jump was (it wasn’t even a jump), while the whole time he was actually doing way cooler stuff, but he didn’t need the acknowledgement. It was impossible to be around him without smiling. It would be months, sometimes years, between seeing him, and he always had that presence that made me feel comfortable and eager to share some life with him. He would play pick-up games like we were in the 7th game of the NBA finals, and you could feel that intensity in how he lived. His heart was big, his love was palpable, and his happiness was always shared. Dasan was a type of friend that everyone is looking for, but it’s so rare to find. So, I wanted to make sure to thank you both for helping shape him into the person he was and for sharing him with the rest of us. I have always enjoyed my time with your family, and I will continue to enjoy those memories with Dasan. Thank you McNerney Family, Bobby Rech

David and Susan...there are no words that would comfort me if my son were to pass away, so I will spare you any promise of prayers that often sound so hollow and meaningless. It has been my experience that comfort comes from our memories - I would be thankful that he had been a part of my life...that he had filled my days with a richness that is beyond words. I hope you find that kind of comfort in the difficult days ahead when you remember your son's birth, his laughter, his wit, and his immense love for you. May those memories bring a smile to your face even as tears flow. And as spring always follows winter, may the wonder of life return to you in time with a richness that once again is beyond words. My prayers are with the family. I met Dasan working in the same building as SBS. Spoke with him often, he was a bright light, and even though we weren't close, he left an impression on my life. Sincere condolences for friends and family
