Mike and I will fondly remember the day we volunteered to take Everett to Columbia, Missouri to the VA hospital for his cataract surgery. It was a longer day due to an unexpected delay due to his atrial fibrillation and they allowed Mike to sit with him in the recovery room and they both talked for a couple of hours.. We both got to enjoy his sense of humor on the ride to and from Columbia. He had a great sense of humor and he loved his dogs Penny and Peanut who he walked around the neighborhood Circle with his friend Ann Dixon and her dog Zoie. Rest in peace Everett .
