Obituary of Billie "Jean" Burnett

Billie Jean Burnett, born September 25, 1938 to George and Etta Wright, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023. She had four brothers that preceeded her in death, Dale, David, Gail, and Kenny.  She has two children, Donald Wayne Burnett and Rose Marie Cooper. She was blessed with nine grandchildren; six naturally and three by marriage; Anna Marie Payne of Agency, Missouri, Catherine Jean Daniels of Eldon, Missouri, Bridget Lee Adams of Kaiser, Missouri, Paul Michaels of Leesburg, Virginia, Nathan Zink of Tampa, Florida, Shawn VanDayke of Eldon, Missouri, Amber McCoin of St. Louis, Missouri, Sherry Scott of Eldon, Missouri, and Ashley Orellana of Greenview, Missouri; twenty nine great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.  She is also survived by step-daughter Jane Hackney of Mesquite, Texas; grandson Timothy Hackney of Mesquite, Texas; granddaughter Rhonda Hackney of Mesquite, Texas and two great-grandchildren.

She was deeply loved by her whole family and will be greatly missed.

Services will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri.  The family will welcome friends for visitation from 10:00-12:00 noon, prior to services at the funeral home.
