Rick and Carol both are missed. My wife and I am honored knowing both of them, and will always cherish the time we spent together at the lake. Rick, Kay and I enjoyed our recent boat ride on a Saturday morning for breakfast. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience for us all. He so missed Carol and never let a moment go without thinking of her. Rick and I spent time fishing and talking about our family's. While I never met them he was proud of them all. We shared many thoughts as we fished and I will hold ont those. Greg & Kay

Rick was one of the best all around. Rick made you feel welcome in all aspects of life! He Loved & cared about you Big. Rick saw the best in everyone. The world lost a great guy and we will truly miss him & what he stood for. We truly loved RIck & Carol and felt they were just like family! Till we meet again!

The world has lost 2 wonderful people in the last eight months. Rick and Carol will remain in my memories of Lake of the Ozarks for many years to come. He was a great fishing buddy with many memories of the size of his fish. I could count on him and Randy waiting for me to come in from fishing. We were the 3 fishing buds.

I worked with Rick thru the Morton Buildings office in Muskogee, Okla. I was so, so sad to hear of his passing. I always enjoyed visiting with Rick when he came to our office. We would talk about whatever Morton business we had and then just talk about our families and whatever else might be going on in our lives. He was the true definition of a hard working, loyal, honest, and caring man. I send prayers and sympathy to his family. He will be missed by all who knew him. Shari Smithson

My deepest heart felt condolence's for Rick's family. I worked with Rick for years and he was so genuine and funny at the same time. I told him one time that I thought he sounded like Sam Elliott and he said I sounded like Reba... we both laughed. He wore many hats at Morton buildings and filled them all with his knowledge. He will be missed by all.

I worked with Rick at Morton Buildings in the same capacity for years. We became very good friends not only at work but in life., Golfing, travel and having a few cold ones. I will truly miss him, our time together and our phone calls. He meant a lot to me. To his family I extend my sincere sympathy.
